The story is briefly told. The Waits family lost their son William, who died on a trip to South America. Because William always cared about others, they unceremoniously established the William Waits Memorial Trust (WWMT.org) , in memory of him. The Trust, like William, cares about helping disadvantaged youth discover and develop their potential so they don’t slip socially.
In the meantime, the original idea has grown into something bigger. To date, the Trust has acquired £2,500,000, with a further £500,000 to be raised annually. The Tour de Force has been a supporter of the WWMT since 2012. Here are the details of the Tour de Force Charity.
You have supported me so much that we have already collected over £ 2,000. You can find the current status of the campaign on my fundraising page.
I have been assured that all donations will go 100% to the WWMT and no fees will be charged, this is guaranteed by Virgin Money Giving. Richard Brandson guarantees this personally.
Once again, thank you very much for your support.
