What a beautiful day. Redemption for Roland, blue sky, 28 – 32 degrees, a light breeze. A vacation day on the tour we joked. In addition, there was a beautiful stretch 195km from Perigueux to Bergerac. Here I’m just sitting in a golf hotel that is connected to a winery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

First of all, a lot of new participants have arrived, a feeling 100, they have saved the first week and wanted to get on right here. I don’t know yet how far they will go, but certainly not to Paris. What the Lifers – so we are called from the group for the whole tour – do not like that it is now becoming a kind of tourist event. Because some have assistants with cars and campers with them, who follow them and meet them at the feed stop. Accordingly, the Lifers behave and drive on again as quickly as possible. So today we were pretty quickly in the team hotel and had the pool for us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Charity<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We must not forget, this is also a charity and I still owe the result. We have all collected 290`000 GBP in donations so far. A proud sum for the WWMT. At this point again many thanks to you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About the route, it went really fast today. The 178 km below are the official distance of the race, plus the trip to the hotel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scenically, this was a dream to drive today, everyone felt pudelwohl on his bike and enjoyed this beautiful landscape. Then there were the newly made roads, which offered almost no resistance. So it rolled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
